  • Some history
    This trail starts in the pretty village of Valcebollère,with its typical Pyrénées architecture.
    After a few metres on the road, take the easy lane upwards. There is a great view over the Cerdagne all along this climb.
    After a hairpin bend, the lane gets a bit more rough before arriving at the foot of the old slate mines.
    This slate was used to build the houses in the village and roofs across Cerdage.
    The descent is more difficult starting with stairs, then gets easier before...
