FROM ONE STATION TO ANOTHER
Hiking around the little yellow train, with beautiful panoramic views over Font-Romeu and the Solar Oven.
The village of Estavar is located at an altitude of approximately 1,218 metres and borders the Spanish enclave of Llívia. The village itself, with its old stones, is very pretty. But it is mainly his church, dedicated to St Julien, that is attracting attention. It contains interesting altarpieces from the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as a beautiful 17th century Christ. In terms of heritage, Estavar also has two hamlets, Bajande and Rô. Bajande has a chapel, the St Barthélemy chapel, containing two 16th century quest dishes.
Departure: Car park of Estavar train station.
