HORSERIDING
The gentle-rolling Cerdagne Mountains are perfect for all types of horse-riding activities. There are many well equipped facilities in the area including indoor and outdoor riding schools, obstacle jumping and training/dressage. Daily riding trips are organised during the winter as well as the summer crossing the most breathtaking landscapes – whether you choose the “Cerdagne Tour”; the “Capcir Tour”; the Forests of the Ariège, the Andorran Peaks or the Spanish Mountain tour, you will feel at home on horseback in the Pyrenees. Rare native breeds such as the Basque Pottoka and the Ariegeois Pony testify to this.
In the Cerdagne, you will see a number of Ariegeois Ponies, Fjord Horses and Castillonais Horses. Horses around here are not just trekking companions, but are work ones too. During summertime, vast droves of horses come here to pasture and take part in numerous Horse related events such as the International Horse Fair in UR or the “Fira de Puigcerda” (Puigcerda Horse Fair) in Spain.

The riding school boasts a 40m x 20m indoor arena and a 2400 m² outdoor one, 26 stables and individual paddocks and meadows.
We offer the following services:
- Pony and Horse-Riding lessons (all levels)
- Activities: Competitions, pony- games and Pony-riding lessons.
- 1 – 2 hour trekks
- Schools, holiday centres and after-school clubs welcome.

- 2 hour children’s lesson: €30 ( 8 yrs and older)
- Children’s horse riding camps take place from Monday to Friday during the holidays (places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment).
- National Horse-Riding test centre (galops fédéraux).
- ½ hour pony rides (where the pony is led by a parent): €7 Available year round by appointment.
- 1 hour pony ride (upon reservation and subject to availability): €16
